HAPPY BIRTHDAY DALLY & PIPER!
Today is going to be a super busy and big day in our home. Not only is it Mother's Day but I am also going to celebrate two very special little girls birthdays. It is officially Dally's birthday today and Piper's is long overdue for her birthday. Piper's birthday was actually two months ago but they took her daddy away from her before she got to celebrate her 1st birthday with him. I have waited and waited and I kept telling my husband that we will celebrate it when he comes home. Several days ago he told me that it was time for me to celebrate her birthday. Having these birthdays without my husband breaks my heart and it is just not fair. He loves his little girls and he wouldn't miss their birthdays for anything. I know that today is going to be hard on him knowing that his children are having a birthday without him and that there is no real reason why he should not be able to be in his home with his little girls.
Below are pictures of my husband with his birthday girls last year. Last year he spent the whole day with his little Dally cat. He wanted to make sure he did something very special with her. So she wanted to paint pottery so that is what they did. Look at that beautiful smile on her face. Dave is such an unselfish man and will do anything for his children. All he wants in life is to make sure his children are happy.
Below are pictures of Piper with her daddy last year on her birthday. There are not a lot of people who celebrate a persons #0 birthday but this man insists we do. He always buys his baby a cake and makes sure we turn it into a family celebration. It breaks my heart to think that Pipers daddy will not get to see his little one year old dive into her birthday cake and make a mess out of it.
Please pray extra hard for Dave today. I know he will spend all day thinking of his little girls. If you see Dally or Piper today please make sure you tell them Happy Birthday. This needs to be a happy day for them. The children of all of the political prisoners should not have to go through what they are having to endure. We need to remember to uplift their little spirits. To teach them that Heavenly Father is proud of them for how brave they are and that he loves them and he will answer their prayers. HE WILL BRING THEIR DADDY'S HOME.
