Sick in Jail

My husband has been really sick this last week.  I have felt so bad for him.  I wish he was home and I could make him feel better.  Dave started feeling sick last Sunday.  He seemed to have been experiencing symptoms of kidney stones.  I know that it has been a hard week for him because he started to get sick on Sunday and then Monday he was denied pre-trial release.   I do not see how he could get much comfort in a jail cell.  I know that when I am sick I like a hot bath, lots of blankets, pillows, medicine and comfort food.  He did not get much help at first from the medical staff at the Henderson Detention Center but he is grateful for the friends that he has in his pod for helping him and watching over him.  He is also grateful to all of you that prayed and fasted for him.  He is definitely aware of your prayers and can feel them.  Please continue to pray for him and hopefully he will be feeling 100 percent better soon.

Dave's pillow actually doesn't look like this.  His pillow is just a bump inside his once inch pad on his bed. This bed doesn't look very comfortable especially for someone with Kidney Stones.

He should be sleeping in a nice comfortable bed with his babies.  WE MISS OUR DADDY!

  4. If it’s any consultation, at least you know that the people at the Henderson Detention Center are looking out for him. There are far worse jails in the area where no one would even care, and would step over his body on the floor to get to lunch if they had to. He’s in the best place he can be.
